The Family Behind Howling Huskys

Jake Greaves

The heart and soul behind Howling Huskys, Jake started it all and continues working year-round through our other business, Wildlife Wranglers, while also travelling with the Howling Husky team during the off-season to support his family and care for the dogs. He starts most mornings with a Red Bull and, when he gets the chance to slow down, loves camping, fishing and spending quality time with his family.

Chloe clacher

Jake’s partner in both life and business, Chloe manages the administration, social media and countless behind-the-scenes details that keep everything running smoothly. She is also a proud stepmum and is currently studying childcare. When she finds time for herself, Chloe loves shopping, socialising with friends, embracing all things girly and hitting the slopes whenever she gets the chance.

zev greaves

The oldest of the two boys, Zev has a deep love for animals - especially reptiles and plays an important role in the wildlife side of the family businesses through his knowledge and endless ideas. He is also an avid bike rider and talented climber who is always ready for an adventure. Zev has now taken part in several sled dog races independently, confidently guiding his own team of dogs.

The youngest of the family, Kai is always eager to jump in and help with the work, just like his dad. He loves being hands-on, riding his motorbike and snowboarding whenever he gets the chance, and would often choose helping with the animals over going to school! Kai also loves being out with the sled dog team and is always keen to be part of the action.
